Because I love Nightmare before Christmas I did Jack Skellington, king of Halloweentown cupcakes for both my sons Halloween Party.
Jack: Deadly chocolate cupcakes topped with Betty Crockers ready made icing (yes I cheated lol) just coloured. Marshmallow on a lollipop stick for the head, you can pick up lollipop sticks from a cake decorating supply shop. Painted the face on with a thin paint brush and black food colouring. Used fruit straps for the bow tie, just coloured and cut to look like bat wings and small dob of fondant for the bats head.
Pumpkins: Vanilla cupcakes coloured orange topped with icing. Coloured and rolled out fondant and cut circles out using a cookie cutter, once placed on top of cupcake I used a Dresden tool to form lines to look like a pumpkin and placed a dob of icing in the middle for it's stem, very easy!!!
